It was another Sunday and I found myself walking the levee downtown and past the gallery. It was another time I saw her at the gallery.
This time I was trying to remember my favorite part of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, a production that I’d participated in over the previous semester.
“What is it that the old woman says when the music stops?”
“It could’ve been the love of my life.”
and I shook,
“You hit the nail in the coffin.”
